Babcock confident going into Game 4

He told the media today: "I know you don't like to hear it, but I think we're going to be more than fine." (via. Kukla)

I think I have some inspiration to offer as a result of this article.

Here's my pep talk (for what it's worth) dedicated to all those who bleed red and white:

You just can't help but like Babcock. A loss tonight and they will face elimination on Saturday yet this is what we get... and I'm sure some may criticize this seemingly lax attitude in such a dire situation, but I think this cockiness is a great mind game.

If I were the Oilers I would be off my high horse pretty quickly after reading this article. These quotes should remind them of who they are playing. These are not the Calgary Flames or the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, the Nashville Predators or even the Dallas Stars. THIS is the team that won the President's trophy for the best record in the NHL YET AGAIN. THIS is the winningest team in the NHL in the last 15 YEARS, a team with 3 Stanley Cups since 1997 and 10 in their history. This is an original six team with a deeper history and tradition behind them than even the storied Edmonton Oilers. This is not just any team they are playing....this is the mighty DETROIT RED WINGS ..... BITCH!!

What a game we should see tonight. GO WINGS!!!!

(sorry... had to say "bitch", it just didn't work without it) :o)
