Zetterberg out indefinitely

Henrik Zetterberg isn't okay, afterall. It turns out that he has a broken bone in his leg and will not be back for 4-6 weeks at least. He suffered the injury in the 3rd period of last night's game against the Canucks when defenseman Bryan Allen slashed him in the back of the legs on a power play. Of course, no penalty was called, even though Henrik was limping around the ice until the puck was cleared. It must have been some slash because, as I mentioned before, Zetterberg wears extra padding on his legs and it wouldn't be easy to just break a bone. I wish the leage would have the balls to suspend Allen but Bettman's too busy bending over for Burke and the small market teams to do anything. The Wings sent a tape to the league anyway, though. This is terrible news for the Wings who now not only have to play without one of their best defensemen and their best goalie but without one of their best forwards as well. I'm really not enjoying this season at all. The Wings next play the Canucks February 24. That's too bad because I want to see them take out Allen now and not have to wait 3 months for it. Allen, by the way, is the same guy who was involved in Hatcher's injury, though that time it wasn't a vicious cheap shot. Joseph will start tonight afterall, apparently.
