Tonight is the second of four games with the Canucks this season. The Wings last played Vancouver on October 16 and won 3-2. Tonight will likely be a little different. The Wings have gone on a 2-5-1 skid since then while the Canucks are riding a 7 game unbeaten streak. Vancouver is #1 in the NHL right now, which doesn't mean much this early on but it's better than where the Wings are right now, barely .500. Tonight's game may just be what the Wings need, though, to jerk them out of this downward spiral they've been on. We can only hope. Hasek still has his "groin problem" and Joseph isn't 100% ready to go yet either Manny will get the start. No scratches for the 'Nucks.
