Schneider Suspended for Two Games

Defenseman Mathieu Schneider was suspended for two games for high-sticking Bruin Glen Murray in the neck this past Saturday. No penalty was called on the play. He will forfeit $38,888.88, the money going to the Players Emergency Assistance Fund. Schneider will miss the Chicago game on Wednesday and the Phoenix game on Friday.
